Comprehensive Eye Check-Up
A full evaluation of your eye health and vision. This check-up includes tests for visual acuity (clarity), refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism), and screening for eye diseases like cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. It also helps detect other health issues, such as diabetes or hypertension, that can affect your eyes.
Binocular Vision Dysfunction
This condition occurs when your eyes have difficulty working together, leading to symptoms like blurred or double vision, headaches, and eye strain. It can make reading or focusing difficult. Treatment typically involves vision therapy to strengthen eye coordination, prism glasses to realign vision, and exercises to improve eye teamwork.

Myopia Management
Myopia (nearsightedness) causes distant objects to appear blurry. Myopia management aims to slow its progression, especially in children. Techniques include using specialized contact lenses (like orthokeratology), prescription glasses designed to slow myopia, or low-dose atropine eye drops to reduce eye elongation and risk of serious eye conditions.
Dry Eyes
Dry eye syndrome happens when the eyes don’t produce enough tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly, causing discomfort, burning, and redness. Treatments range from artificial tears to medications that boost tear production, and punctal plugs that help retain natural tears. Lifestyle changes like reducing screen time or using humidifiers can also help.

Vision Therapy
Vision therapy is a customized, non-surgical treatment to improve visual skills and coordination. It’s often used for conditions like lazy eye (amblyopia) or convergence issues. Therapy includes eye exercises and the use of tools like lenses, prisms, and filters to improve focus, tracking, and depth perception.
Low Vision
Low vision refers to significant visual impairment that can’t be corrected with regular glasses, contacts, or surgery. People with low vision struggle with daily tasks such as reading or recognizing faces. Low vision services offer aids like magnifiers, specialized glasses, and training to help maximize remaining vision and maintain independence.

Cataract and Glaucoma Detection
• Cataracts: A condition where the eye’s lens becomes cloudy, leading to blurry vision and difficulty with night vision. Early detection and surgery can restore vision by replacing the cloudy lens with a clear one.
• Glaucoma: A group of eye diseases that damage the optic nerve, often due to increased eye pressure, which can lead to vision loss if untreated. Detection involves measuring eye pressure and checking the optic nerve. Treatment options include eye drops, laser therapy, or surgery to lower pressure and protect vision.
Diabetic Retinopathy
Diabetic retinopathy is an eye condition caused by damage to the blood vessels in the retina due to high blood sugar levels from diabetes. It can lead to blurred vision, floaters, and even vision loss if left untreated. Early detection is crucial, as the condition often shows no symptoms in its early stages. Regular eye exams can help monitor and manage the progression. Treatment options include laser surgery, injections, or medications to prevent further damage and preserve vision.
